Significant improvements in recovery as a competitive athlete

“I think my resting heart rate was around 51, 52, and it's now down to like 47, 48 on average in about maybe two months of usage. And my HRV was around high 30s and now it's like averaging probably mid-40s.” – Andrew

Hi, this is Andrew Wang giving an update on my Nuropod use. I typically use it before bed for about 30 minutes every night, and the main reason why I got it is to help my central nervous system recover after breaking training. So I am a competitive breaker, and we usually practice Pretty late in the evening. So I was looking for a way to kind of reset, um, or calm my nervous system before bed, especially after a late practice, so that I could recover faster in order to train hard again, you know, the next day or two. Um, I found that my central nervous system usually recovers slower than my actual, like, muscles and everything. So Um, that's why I ended up getting it.

So far the results have been good. Um, I definitely feel like I can fall asleep faster after using the Nuropod, and I have seen a significant increase in my HRV as well as my resting heart rate. Both of those metrics I use the Whoop to track. And, um, there's definitely a significant improvement in those 2 metrics. I think my resting heart rate was around 51, 52, and it's now down to like 47, 48, um, on average, uh, in about maybe 2 months of usage. And, uh, my HRV was around high 30s and now it's like averaging probably mid-40s. So definitely a significant change.

Another thing I love using it for is if I get anxiety before a competition or, you know, work has been more stressful and I have a little bit more things on my mind before bed, using it 30 minutes before bed calms me down and definitely helps with my sleep. So those are my comments and results.
